The ECHOES team is building expertise in coronagraphic instrumentation and exoplanet detection, with positions filled during the full duration of the project (2026-2030). The ECHOES team collaborates with the SPHERE+ consortium and leverages the infrastructure of the Very Large Telescope (VLT).

Baptiste Abeloos, ONERA Research Scientist

Machine learning expert in image processing and trustworthy AI. Currently working at ONERA/DTIS (Information Processing and Systems Department).

Pierre Baudoz, Associate Astronomer at Paris Observatory - PSL

Expert in instrumentation for high-contrast imaging at LIRA. He is in charge of a the THD2 bench, a unique experimental platform in Europe at the core of the ECHOES project.

Anthony Boccaletti, CNRS Senior Research Scientist

Expert in circumstellar disks (debris and protoplanetary) at LIRA. He is the Principal Investigator for the SPHERE+ project, at the core of ECHOES.

Raphaël Galicher, Associate Professor at Université Paris Cité

Specialist in optics instrumentation and imaging of exoplanets and circumstellar disks at LIRA.

Olivier Herscovici-Schiller, ONERA Research Scientist

Specialist of data processing algorithms to detect and characterize space objects using electromagnetic signals. Currently working at ONERA/DTIS (Information Processing and Systems Department).

Johan Mazoyer, CNRS Research Scientist, Principal investigator

Expert in high-contrast imaging and exoplanet and debris disk detection. Currently working at Laboratoire d'instrumentation et de recherche en astrophysique (LIRA) at Paris Observatory - PSL.

Eitan Péchevis, CNRS Research Engineer

Specialized in optical design, Eitan will contribute to the development of the THD2 optical testbed.

Axel Potier, Associate Professor at Université Paris Cité

Specialized in coronagraph design, wavefront sensing and control algorithms, and advanced data processing methods for exoplanet detection at LIRA.
