With EXO3D, students can explore planetary systems in three dimensions and augmented reality, as if they were scientific objects to handle and investigate. This immersive visualization helps them understand orbits, planetary architectures and distances in exoplanetary systems. The tool is part of the European Exo4Edu programme, Exoplanets for Education, led by the Education and Training Unit of Observatoire de Paris – PSL and coordinated by a LIRA astronomer. It offers a new way to connect research, teaching and the discovery of extrasolar worlds.
