And that’s two ! Guy Perrin, a researcher at the LIRA, has received his second award of the year - and not the least : the Officer’s Medal of the National Order of Merit.


This latest accolade is the culmination of an exceptional scientific career. Already awarded the medal of chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite in 2019, Guy Perrin has now been awarded the rank of officier, six years later. This promotion comes on top of another award received this year in March : the médaille d’honneur des cadres du CNRS, in recognition of his commitment as deputy scientific director of CNRS Terre & Univers.

The medal ceremony was held on 24 September, in the prestigious setting of the Salle Cassini at the Observatoire de Paris-PSL.
