On 10 March 2025, Guy Perrin, a researcher at LIRA (Observatoire de Paris-PSL), was awarded the médaille d’honneur des cadres for his commitment as deputy scientific director of CNRS Terre & Univers, from 2017 to 2021. The award was presented to him by Antoine Petit, Chairman and CEO of CNRS, and Éric Chareyre, Director Delegate for Senior Management.

Instituted in 2023 by Antoine Petit, this medal aims to recognise and distinguish those who, through the quality of their managerial commitment, contribute to the influence and global leadership of CNRS. It is a mark of the institution’s recognition of the work accomplished by Guy Perrin in the service of research and society.

This distinction joins a long list of prestigious awards and honours obtained during his career, in recognition of his research work and his responsibilities within the scientific community.
