The Stars and Galaxies Research Group studies magnetic fields in all types of stars, their origin, their role in stellar evolution, structure and environment.
Research is particularly focused on massive and intermediate-mass stars, as well as modelling of stellar spectra in order to derive elemental abundances which serve as constraints of stellar evolution models.
