EPSC Outstanding Poster Competition is a competition open to students (BSc, MSc), doctoral students, and early-career scientists. It evaluates posters according to three fundamental criteria : the relevance of the study, scientific rigor, and clarity of presentation.
Michele Lissoni’s poster, entitled “Deep learning map of fresh crater ejecta on Mercury : a resource for space weathering studies,” won an award in the Terrestrial Planets category. This research, which uses deep learning techniques to map ejecta from recently formed craters on Mercury, provides a unique tool for improving our understanding of space weathering processes.
This recognition highlights the excellence and strong potential of his work within the planetary science community.
